Warning way too sexy for substack.
Brace yourselves folks. This may be Substack and not OnlyFans, but the level of sexiness you are about to witness should be paid for lol.
Over the weekend, I had the absolute pleasure of attending a special celebration for the 500th episode of the Amazing Comics Podcast.
While there, I finally got to meet Kieran, the brilliant artist behind our brand new weekly comic Serial Hunter.
(If you’re curious who’s who, check out the photo at the bottom of the page. I’m the one on the right, Kieran’s the one on the left!)
I spent a fantastic afternoon chatting with Kieran about the comic, un-successfully answering questions in the pub quiz, and then full on geeking out when he mentioned he’s already four pages ahead on Serial Hunter. Seriously, this guy is a total machine.
It was also a real treat to reconnect with so many friends I haven’t seen since the covid pre-lockdown convention days. Their energy (and maybe the pub’s energy, too) gave me an extra gust of wind in my sails. I can’t wait to see what Kieran creates next for us all to obsess over. I wonder if I can stretch my monthly budget to allow another artist to start work on another series.
A special shoutout goes to Richard Sheaf, who kept me entertained with our shared passion for all things obscure and rare, and another to Cliff Cumber, who showed me a series of comic strips destined to ruin beloved childhood TV shows (Cliff, if you’re reading this, please hurry up and compile those into something we can all devour!).
Finally, the biggest congratulations to Dan, Tony, and Vince for hitting such a mind-boggling milestone. 500 episodes is an achievement most podcasts only dream about and they’ve nailed it every week (I think without fail). If you haven’t listened yet, seriously, where have you been? Head over to their site right now and treat your ears to something spectacular.
Trust me you’ll thank me later.

Was great to see you mate!
Aaron, I can’t believe I never even saw you that day??!! My eyesight must be going!!!
